Vertical Vegies of 2020

Over the last few years I have been raving about my love of vertical vegies and while that love hasn’t changed, each year I need to change around where and how I grow these crops as we do with crop rotation of all productive annual crops. Just over a week ago I filmed a video about my vertical vegies of 2020.

The most amazing vertical vegie this year is a giant tromboncino which at last measurement was 1.68cm long. I also grew spaghetti squash over a mesh panel about 2.4m long and managed to get 15 fruits off 3 plants. I love this squash as it’s a great keeper in the cellar and can last for up to 10 months.
